The climate finance issue is an integral part of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change（referred to as the “Convention”）and its Paris Agreement. It is also a central focus of the Conference of the Parties（COP）negotiations within the Convention. The Convention emphasizes that developed countries shall provide financial support to assist developing nations in addressing climate change. The Paris Agreement upholds the “common but differentiated responsibilities” and “equity” principles of the Convention. Post-Paris Agreement，climate finance is poised to continue playing a pivotal role in advancing global climate action. Despite certain challenges，including divergences between developing and developed countries，funding gaps，and sustainability issues，the international community holds high expectations for the future of climate finance mechanisms. To ensure success，cooperation must be strengthened，transparency and management efficiency improved，and diverse funding sources and innovative mechanisms explored. Furthermore，adherence to the principle of common but differentiated responsibilities，through international collaboration and collective efforts to address climate change，will contribute to achieving sustainable development goals. Climate finance is expected to continue propelling the world towards a greener，low-carbon future and fostering global cooperation in addressing the challenges of climate change.
