In 2022，the 27th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in Egypt approved the establishment of a new agenda for the “Just Transition Path Work Plan”，marking a new level of attention to the issue of “Just Transition” in the global climate governance process. Due to the fact that the “Just Transition Path Work Plan” is a new agenda authorized under the UNFCCC，there is still significant disagreement among all parties regarding their understanding of the issue of Just Transition Path，their expectations，and the main work content of the topic. This article will analyze the significance of the establishment of the “Just Transition Path Work Plan”，the negotiating positions of all parties on this issue，as well as the challenges and development trends faced by the “Just Transition Path Work Plan”，providing reference to better participate in the negotiations on this issue and carry out the related work of Just Transition in China.
