This chapter explores the approach taken by the EU and European Member States in adapting to the actual and expected impacts of climate change. It then summarizes the tools and funding mechanisms for implementing adaptation measures at the transnational，national，regional and local levels of government administration. Finally，policy recommendations are provided based on the EU experience.
