2010~2011年，中国中东研究学者主要关注的问题有：中东北非动荡的原因、影响及走势；奥巴马中东新政的内容、实施效果；中阿经贸合作的成就、面临的挑战及应对之策；中东安全问题；中东民族主义与伊斯兰主义的发展与变化。在学界同人的共同努力下，中国的中东研究活跃，成果丰富，取得了不小的成就。但在研究深度、方法方面的问题仍值得重视。近期，伊朗核问题、战后利比亚、美军撤离后的伊拉克、埃及大选等都应继续跟踪。
Chinese scholars on middle east research pay close attention to the following topics in 2010/2011:the causes,influence and trend of Middle East turbulence;contents and Assessment of Obama's Middle East Policy;achievements,challenges of Economic and trade relations between china and middle east;security needs in middle east;change and development of Nationalism and Islamism .Although scholars have made great progress and reaped rich fruits in middle east studies in china,they still should try their best to improve the study on depth and method.For a short term,such issues as Iran's nuclear program,situation in Iraq after the U.S.troop withdrawal,and elections in Egypt are worthy of study.
