三年来，中国中东研究和中东学科建设成绩斐然。研究队伍壮大，科研成果丰硕，智库的作用得到提升。围绕“阿拉伯之春”、伊朗核问题、伊斯兰主义与民主、中国与中东关系等重大理论与现实问题展开研究是这一时期国内外中东研究的主要特色。我国一大批基础性、理论性、应用性、战略性的重大研究课题纷纷立项，出版近百部学术专著，并在研究理论与方法、研究体制、学术观点等方面有所创新。中东研究日益靠近国际前沿，与国际中东学界保持同步，中国学者在国际中东学界话语权增大。
During last three years，China Middle East studies team and the Middle East disciplines made a big success.Focusing on“Arab Spring”，the Iranian nuclear issue，the Islamism and democracy，the relationship between China and the Middle East，and other major theoretical and practical issues of Middle East studies at home and abroad，are the main research topics.There are a large number of fundamental，theoretical，applied and strategic research programs，nearly 100 academic books and monographs published，and there were many innovative in the theory，methods，mechanism of research，and academic point of view，etc..China’s Middle Eastern Studies are increasingly close to the international disciplines frontier，to keep pace with the international scholars，and the voice of Chinese scholars in the international academic discourse increased greatly.
