Social governance is an arduous and complex project. After a century of development，Jordanian social development has made significant progress in education，medical care，social security and women’s social status. At the same time，there exists some prominent problems，such as social inequality，youth unemployment，poverty，and refugee issues，which not only test Jordan’s national governance capabilities，but also pose a huge challenge to Jordan’s social stability. The pragmatic and flexible governance approach adopted by the Jordanian regime and the promotion of top-down social reforms have alleviated social conflicts to a certain extent and maintained social stability. However，these outstanding problems have not been effectively eradicated. These social problems will continue to be problematic in the future and may also become potential factors triggering social unrest in Jordan.
