2020年，埃及发生新冠肺炎疫情后，埃及政府采取了从应急措施到防治结合的综合性措施，逐渐控制了疫情。新冠肺炎疫情对埃及公共医疗与经济产生了重大影响，埃及政府推行了一整套提振纾困计划，维持旅游业与加工业运转。埃及的抗疫前景具有较大的不确定性，但整体可控；埃及经济改革前景不容乐观，需要花费多年解决长期的结构性问题和疫情带来的新问题。
Since 2020，the COVID-19 epidemic has ravaged Egypt. At the first time the epidemic appeared，the Egyptian government began a counterattack against it. From implementing emergency measures to comprehensive measures combining prevention and control，the government has gradually controlled the spread of the epidemic. The epidemic hindered the development of Egyptian economy and the Sisi regime’s large-scale economic reforms. In the face of the raging epidemic，the Egyptian government has introduced a series of relief and boost plans to keep the troubled tourism and processing industries running. Although Egypt’s future anti-epidemic prospects are highly uncertain，the overall situation will be under control. With long-term structural problems and new problems brought by the epidemic to be delt with for many years，Egypt’s economic reform is hardly promising.
