This article conducts an in-depth analysis of the current characteristics of consumption changes，and in combination with the current situation and characteristics of the consumption market in the Yangtze River Delta region，it focuses on summarizing the policy focus points of the region in recent years to boost consumption and promote high-quality development. The research conclusions show that currently，the entire consumption market has undergone a structural qualitative change，and its manifestation characteristics are as follows：the “heat value” of the consumption market is spreading outward from central consumption cities；the recovery of the consumption market shows a trend of relatively rapid growth in upgraded commodities；the rise of the new generation of consumers is reshaping the consumption pattern；and cultural tourism is moving towards the “scenario consumption era” in the process of in-depth integration. Based on this，the main policy focus points of the Yangtze River Delta region in vigorously boosting consumption to promote high-quality development in recent years are mainly reflected in the following aspects：improving the consumption quality of new emerging hot cities，stabilizing traditional consumption，vigorously boosting the consumption of major consumer goods，promoting the sustainability of national trend consumption，actively developing the first-launch economy，innovating scenario models to promote the integrated development of the creative economy，actively building international consumption center cities，and promoting the digital transformation of consumption models through technological empowerment，etc.
