2018年3月中国“两会”召开，中国将继续积极推进“一带一路”建设，加强同世界各国的交流合作，让中国改革开放发展造福人类。中国与巴新于1976年建交，40多年来，两国关系以相互尊重为基石，合作交往日益频繁。如今，巴新已成为中国在南太平洋最大的投资目的地，巴新正积极响应“一带一路”倡议。中巴新关系正在向好、向密的方向快速发展。本文将着重分析巴新成为推进“一带一路”建设新亮点的基础及合作方向，以及中巴新关系迅速推进的原因，以及中巴新关系不断深化、紧密过程中的机遇和挑战。
In March 2018，China's two sessions were held，“ the Belt and Road” construction would continue to promote the initiative to foster the cooperation between the nations and to share the fruits of 40 years of reforming and opening up.China and the Independent State of Papua New Guinea（PNG） established diplomatic relation in 1976.The forty years of relation is built upon the principle of mutual respect.It is not surprising，therefore，the cooperation is growing fast.PNG has become the largest foreign direct investment destination of China in South Pacific region and signed the Memorandum of Understanding of“the Belt and Road” Initiative.This paper will look into the prospect of “the Belt and Road” Initiative cooperation and the possible challenges.
