2019年中新关系中，经贸联系仍呈现强劲增长势头，在政治与外交、经济、安全等领域，双方也保持相对频繁的互动，并取得了包括自贸协定升级谈判的完成等一系列重要成就。在新的国际形势中，新西兰在进行一定的调适，以因应新的环境变化。
In 2019，the trade and economic interactions between China and New Zealand maintain a strong momentum of growth，and the two countries also maintain relatively frequent interactions in politics and diplomacy，economy，security and so on，and make several achievements including the completion of negotiations on upgrading the Free Trade Agreement. Meanwhile，there are some disputes in New Zealand concerning the relations with China，and some contradictions in China-New Zealand relations reflected by Huawei’s 5G issue and so on still exist and trigger extensive discussions. The two countries，especially New Zealand，are making adaptations to meet the changes of reality concerning their relations.
