菲律宾目前已经建立了相对完善的法律保护体系和行政保护体系来提高自身的知识产权保护水平，但开拓菲律宾市场的中国企业仍然面临着恶意注册商标和专利侵权等行为的威胁。多数在菲中国企业对当地知识产权保护情况了解甚少，又缺乏专业人士保驾护航，致使它们难以及时申请商标和专利，也难以应对复杂的知识产权诉讼。为了有效规避此类知识产权保护风险，应该在加强对菲律宾知识产权保护现状的研究的同时建立开放的信息平台，为在菲中国企业提供更加专业的知识产权保护服务。
Although Philippines has built a comparatively well-established legal and executive protection system to increase its intellectual property protection level，Philippines-based Chinese companies still under the threat of mala fide registration and infringement of patent. Because most of these companies know little about the intellectual property protection in Philippines and lack of professional guiding，it’s difficult for them to apply for trademarks and patents in time and deal with complicated intellectual property litigation. In order to avoid the risk，we should continue in-depth studies of Philippine intellectual property protection as well as establish an open information platform to serve the Chinese companies more professionally in the field of intellectual property protection.
