The Philippines is a close neighbor of China and an important member of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations. Today，with the progress of China’s “One Belt，One Road” initiative，it is necessary to know more about the Philippines and its cultural development. The Philippine culture showed remarkable characteristics of nationality，diversity and inclusiveness in 2018. The Philippines government has not only made a lot of efforts in promoting traditional culture，but also provided a good opportunity for the development of contemporary arts. While stimulating young people’s love for art，the Philippines has also strengthened cultural communication with other ASEAN countries and the world and introduced multiculturalism to its people.
