Fully understanding，respecting and conforming to laws of urban development is essential in constructing and developing national central cities. National central cities are different from small and medium-sized cities in many ways，especially in spatial and traffic structures，and they have their own inherent development requirements. To promote the high-quality development of national central cities，efforts are required to deeply study and explore the inherent development laws of mega cities. Continued actions should be taken to optimize spatial and traffic structures as they are key issues that have fundamental and lasting impact on urban development. Another suggestion is establishing sound systems and mechanisms suitable for the implementation of spatial strategies for metropolitan circles，thereby contributing to the formation of a development pattern of metropolitan circles and promoting the high quality and sustainable development of cities.
