Venezuela has always faced complex geopolitical challenges and interests，and its diplomatic traditions have been deeply influenced by geopolitical factors. Since entering the 21st century，Venezuela’s foreign relations have inherited its diplomatic traditions in implementing oil diplomacy，promoting Latin American unity and integration，and strengthening relations with countries in the Caribbean，but they are different from the past in terms of relations with the United States.
