2018年12月30日，刚果（金）举行了总统、立法、地方三合一大选。此次大选原定于2016年11月27日举行。由于现任总统约瑟夫·卡比拉谋求“第三任期”，引发了旷日持久的政治危机，大选被推迟。作为撒哈拉以南非洲面积最大国家的刚果（金），由于其重要的战略地位及富饶的自然资源，这场大选引起了国际社会的广泛关注。大选的举行暂时结束了刚果（金）政治危机。然而，这场姗姗来迟的大选并不会缓解刚果（金）各派政治力量之间的矛盾，甚至可能孕育着更大的风险和危机。
Presidential，legislative，and Provincial Elections have been held in D.R. Congo on 30 December，2108，which should be held on 27 November 2016. The out-going President Josef Kabila sought for the Third term after he won the second term in 2011，which caused lasting political crisis. As one of the largest countries in Africa and its rich resources，the elections of D.R. Congo have drawn attentions worldwides. Although the belated elections ended the political crisis provisionally，it cannot alleviate the conflicts between the political forces，which is pregnant with more risks.
