In 2018,the number of refugees received by Greece continued to increase compared to 2017,and the main source countries for refugees are Syria,Iraq,Afghanistan and Pakistan. Legal immigrants and refugees account for 5.5% of the total population of Greece. This article focuses on the integration of refugees and immigrants living in Greece,including refugee reception and resettlement,employment and education. Greece implements the intercultural integration policy. The Greek government released the National Integration Strategy in June 2018 and many new initiatives are to be implemented to promote the integration of refugees and immigrants;however,the status of the integration of refugees and immigrants is still not optimistic due to the economic crisis and high unemployment rate in the country. Education and employment rates of immigrants in Greece are much lower than the average level of EU member states.
