In 2018,although the refugee influx slowed,it still has an impact on the European politics to a large extent. Firstly, since the refugee crisis, the extreme right-wing forces against refugees and migrants have occupied the discourse of international immigrants, andthe anti- refugee and immigrant comments continue to stimulate the public sentiment of the recipient countries, leading to sustained social unrest. Secondly,it is difficult for EU member states to reach a consistent approach of solving the problem thoroughly. At present,EU member states can only repatriate refugees and immigrants or help them to integrate into the society based on their own policies. This two-handed approach partly has relieved the domestic social contradictions. In the case of Germany, the measures taken by the government have achieved some results, but they still fail to resolve the contradiction between the lack of labor force and the expulsion of irregular immigrants.
