Russia has a vast territory， extremely uneven regional economy， and unbalanced cooperation with China in local level. At present， the local cooperation between the two countries has shown a good trend， and the willingness of the two sides to carry out local cooperation has been significantly enhanced. In particular， in the project docking of the Silk Road Economic Belt and the Eurasian Economic Union， the pace of investment driven by projects has been promoted and the financial cooperation has reached a new level. In recent years， the local cooperation between the two countries has not been limited to the border areas， but has worked to dig more potential of cooperation based on the the industrial complementarity. Currently， the cooperation between the two countries exists at multiple levels and fields. Although the complementary advantages， the space for cooperation as well as the potential of the local cooperation are obvious， there are still many specific docking problems between China and Russia. Accordingly， summarizing the crux of the common problems and carrying out some pointed measures are necessary to improve the efficiency and promote the local cooperation into a new developmental stage， and thus achieve the expected outcomes.
