Both China and India are emerging economies with strong economic complementarities and huge potential for cooperation. The deepening of Sino-Indian economic and trade cooperation under the background of the Belt and Road has important strategic significance. Based on the analysis of the current status of Sino-Indian economic and trade cooperation and existing problems，the article further explores the importance of strengthening Sino-Indian economic and trade cooperation under the framework of the Belt and Road and the key areas of future cooperation between the two countries. Finally，the paper puts forward some Suggestions for deepening bilateral economic and trade cooperation.
