中国-葡语国家经贸合作论坛自2003年在澳门设立以来，至今已满十五年了。十五年来，中葡论坛做了大量的工作，包括连续举办五次部长级会议、签订五份《经贸合作行动纲领》、设立中葡合作发展基金、建立澳门中葡商贸合作服务平台综合体、成立中葡论坛培训中心、开设网站、出版刊物、举办学术研讨会及举办各类经贸、文化促进活动等。这些工作大大促进了中国与葡语国家的经贸发展，增进了彼此在各领域的相互合作，同时也增强了彼此间的政治互信与友好关系。在此期间，澳门也很好地发挥了联系中国与葡语国家的平台作用，澳门与葡语国家间的政治经贸关系也得到了增强。
The Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries has been established in Macao for 15 years. Over the past 15 years，the China-Portugal Forum has done a great deal of work，including holding five successive ministerial meetings，signing five “Action programs for Economic and Trade Cooperation”，setting up a China-Portugal Cooperation and Development Fund，establishing a comprehensive platform for Sino-Portuguese business and trade co-operation in Macao，setting up the training center of the China-Portugal Forum，setting up websites，publishing publications，and holding academic seminars and various kinds of economic，trade and cultural promotion activities. These efforts have greatly promoted the economic and trade development between China and Portuguese-speaking countries，enhanced mutual cooperation in various fields，and strengthened mutual political trust and friendly relations between China and Portuguese-speaking countries. During this period，Macao also played a good role as a platform to link China with Portuguese-speaking countries，and the political and economic relations between Macao and Portuguese-speaking countries were also strengthened.
