南亚是“一带一路”沿线的一个重点地区，中巴经济走廊、孟中印缅经济走廊都是“一带一路”的重要组成部分。目前这些重点项目以及中国与南亚国家的双边合作都取得一定的进展，同时也遇到印度因素、东道国政治不稳和营商环境较差等不少挑战。但从总体上看，“一带一路”倡议与南亚国家的发展战略高度契合，能高度满足当地发展的实际需求，在该地区得到普遍欢迎，未来有巨大的发展潜力与合作空间。
South Asia is an important region along the Belt and Road.The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and Bangladesh-China-India-Myanmar Economic Corridor are significant components of the Belt and Road.At present，these key projects and the bilateral cooperation between China and the South Asian countries has all achieved some progress and meanwhile encountered some challenges，such as the influence of India，political instability of host countries and poor business environment.But in general，the Belt and Road Initiative is highly congruent with the development strategies of the South Asian countries，is able to meet the practical needs of local developments and is widely embraced in this region and thus there is great potential for further development and cooperation.
