中泰两国是近邻,自古以来关系友好。早期的中国人移居泰国后曾创办过中文学校以教授中文、传播中华文化。但是由于历史、政治等原因,很多中文学校被迫关闭或者停止中文教学,直到1992年才重新恢复。近年来,随着中泰两国政府在中文教育领域的合作不断扩大与加深,泰国的中文教学实现了快速增长。在中文教育快速增长的同时,也存在不少问题,特别是如何进一步提高中文教育质量的问题尤为突出。
本报告采用定性、定量研究方法,通过参阅文献和深入访谈来研究泰国中文教育的现状、存在的问题、影响中文教育的因素以及社会对中文教育的需要,在基于事实的基础上,提出了进一步完善中文教育的对策和建议。
China and Thailand are close neighbors. Since ancient times,both countries have built a long and friendly relationship. After the early Chinese immigrants moved to Thailand,Chinese language academy had been founded to teach Chinese language and disseminate Chinese culture. Because of political reasons in history,many Chinese language academy were forced to close or stop teaching,until 1992 reopened Chinese teaching. In recent years,with the cooperation of Chinese and Thai governments,Chinese language education continues to expand and deepen. The implementation of Chinese volunteer teachers,cooperation in building Confucius institutes,Confucius classrooms,co-authored teaching materials and assistance to local teachers in Thailand has made Chinese teaching achieve rapid growth in Thailand. With the rapid growth of Chinese language education,there are also many problems appeared,especially how to further improve the quality of Chinese language education.
This paper adopts the method of qualitative and quantitative research approach,through literature review and in-depth interview to study the current situation,problems,influencing factors and social needs of Chinese language education in Thailand. On the basis of facts,the countermeasures and suggestions for further improvement of Chinese language education are put forward.
