Inclusion of India's West Bengal and North Eastern region in OBOR will give a new start and a new bright spot in India-China cooperation as it will foster policy coordination，increase trade and investment and ensure people-to-people connectivity in this region.In such a situation，it becomes imperative for policymakers in India to plan out strategies that not only mitigate adverse consequences of OBOR，but also enables India to reap benefits from the same.
