当下伊朗开设汉语学位教育的高校共有四所，只能提供本科学位教育，不管是开设高校数量还是学位教育层次，汉语均落后于英语、法语、德语、俄语甚至日语，这与中伊经贸的发展和双方高层对两国关系的定位不相符。目前困扰伊朗高校汉语学位教育的突出障碍是（本土）优秀甚至是合格教师缺乏，伊朗相关部门和高校对（中国和）汉语的态度也是个问题，孔子学院在该国的发展亦不顺利。伊朗社会对汉语的需求是客观存在的，中伊两国相关部门和高校要对此给予有效回应。
There are four universities offering Chinese degree education in Iran currently and only undergraduate degree can be granted.Outstanding obstacles influencing education of Chinese degree in Iran include lack of local excellent or even qualified teachers，the attitude of Iran's relevant departments and universities to Chinese，and unsuccessful development of Confucius college in Iran.The demand for Chinese in Iran society is objective，so the relevant departments and universities in China and Iran need to respond it effectively.
