As the first collision of condensate oil tanker in history, the accident of Sanchi reflects not only the determination of liability for high compensation but also the shortage of shipping capacity on crude oil and petroleum products. Iran has been facing various problems since back to international market, including over-reliance on Jarque Island's output capacity,non-Iranian ships undertake the vast majority of voyages and deadweight tonnage, the aging of Iranian ships and long sailing time. Although Iran has been eager to seize the international market share, its shipping destinations are still focused in Asia (China,Japan,South Korea,India). In Europe,Turkey and Greece still are Iranian traditional market, and the new market shares are concentrated in Italy and France.
