2017年伊朗外交的主要内容为积极与西方国家发展经贸关系，但对伊核问题全面协议可能出现的变数也有所防备；在伊斯兰世界，与土耳其在地区事务上密切合作，并在暗中与沙特较量；与俄罗斯、中国以及上海合作组织积极交往。这一年，伊朗外交既坚持了伊斯兰准则，也顺应时局变化进行了必要的调整。
Iran developed economic and trade relations with western countries actively，but also be prepared for possible changes of JCPOA.Iran worked closely with Turkey on regional affairs，but opposed Saudi Arabia secretly.Iran cooperated with Russia，China and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.That was the main content of Iranian diplomacy in 2017. This year，Iranian diplomacy not only adhered to Islamic principles，but also made necessary adjustments in response to the changing situation.
