古代丝绸之路上，中国和伊朗两个大国交相辉映，开展了丰富的商业沟通和文化交流活动，对促进东西方政治、经济和文化交流起过巨大的历史作用。本文选取张骞开通西域到中世纪的时间节点，记述了关于古代中国与伊朗间的官方与民间商业往来、人文交流的一些史实和思考，以期展示古代丝绸之路的深远历史影响。
China and Iran were the two major diplomatic and mercantile powers of antique and medieval Asia that were connected by land and sea Silk Roads and played a huge historical role in promoting political，economic and cultural exchanges between the East and the West.This paper records some official and mercantile contacts between Iran and China from Antiquity to Middle Ages in order to show the profound historical influence of the ancient Silk Road.
