As an important pillar of China's “The Belt and Road” strategy，foreign contracted projects play an important role in progressing export of domestic equipment，technology and labor，in accelerating transformation of development mode for international trade as well as in boosting national economic development. From the perspective of provinces，the paper will study the development status and change trend of foreign contracted projects in China's major provinces and cities. Finally，the paper puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions of promoting the development of China foreign contracted projects.
