In the 16th Century,Spanish came to Japan for the first time. They wanted to trade with Japan,but the commercial relationship hadn't been built up by many reasons in the two countries. In the early 17th century,Japan successfully built commercial intercourse with Spain by effort of Tokugawa Ieyasu. Nevertheless,trade between the two countries could not thrive for a long time. At the same time,Ieyasu could not bear preach by missionaries,and finally severed relationship with Spain. Although Asian oceanic trade was controlled by Portugal in the 16~17th century,the trade trial between Japan and Spain had its special meaning,and was also a part of communication between East and West at that time.
