The reform of the administrative examination and approval system involves the optimization of the power structure and the function adjustment of the government departments，which is regarded as a powerful grasp of the government’s “self-revolution” and the reform of the administrative management system. Since the eighteen Party of the party，it has actively promoted the reform of the administrative examination and approval system with the urgent sense of urgency and the spirit of the courage to innovate，and has become the pioneer of the economic and social development of the whole province. In this process，we have focused on the two major initiatives of “517 reform” and the relatively centralized reform of administrative examination and approval power. The survey found that these explorations have formed three successful experiences：becoming an effective breakthrough in deepening the reform，grasping the “nose” of the reform of the examination and approval system，and constructing a scientific and reasonable modern administrative examination and approval system. On the whole，the reform of administrative examination and approval system in Jiangsu has effectively promoted economic and social development. But the results are still phased，and the reform measures “decentralization，fragmentation，” “incomplete，unsmooth，and not in place” still exist. To this，it is urgent to make further expansion and promotion. Based on this，we should clarify the direction and basic principles，form the consensus of ideas，aim at key links in the key areas，form an effective breakthrough，perfect the complete supporting measures，form a closed chain，push the information technology to promote the deepening of the reform，and strengthen the tracking and supervision，and form a strong force mechanism，which are all the measures to be promoted.
