In 2017，due to the environmental protection inspection of central authorities，comprehensive renovation of environmental protection problems，action of prevention and control of air pollution and water pollution，and strengthening of environmental supervision and security control，positive progress has been made in Shandong’s environment protection. The quality of air environment and water environment are obviously improved. Residents’ awareness of environmental protection has been enhanced. Based on data of Shandong General Socio-Economic Survey hold by SDASS in 2017 and data published by related departments，this paper points out that the situation of prevention and control of air pollution and water pollution is still severe. The environmental monitoring system is still not perfect. The degree of environmental participation of residents still needs to be improved. This paper also puts forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions and the trend forecast of environmental protection work in 2018.
