2017年山东省在城乡基本公共文化服务方面取得了一些成效：通过不断完善五级设施网络，促进了城乡基本公共文化服务均等化；努力抓好各项试点工作，公共文化服务不断推进标准化建设；鼓励多元参与，促进公共文化服务社会化进一步发展；不断丰富资源手段，促进公共文化服务数字化服务水平；积极创新服务模式，大力传承弘扬中华优秀传统文化；采取各种措施鼓励支持文艺原创工作，繁荣公共文化产品供给。但在推进全省基本公共文化服务城乡一体化、改善服务渠道和方式、增加服务形式和内容方面，有待进一步改进和完善。
In 2017，Shandong Province has made some achievements in the urban and rural basic public cultural service：accelerating equalization of basic public cultural services in urban and rural areas through the continuous improvement for the five-leveled facilities’ network；improving the standardization of public cultural services by putting more efforts into the pilot work；promoting further socialization of public cultural services by encouraging multiple participation；increasing the digital service level of public cultural service through extending the means of resources；actively innovating the service mode，inheriting and developing fine Chinese traditional culture；encouraging original works of literature and art，and expanding the supply of public cultural products. However，it still needs to be improved in promoting the integration of the basic public culture of the whole province，improving the service channels and ways，and increasing the service forms and content.
