This paper introduces the present situation of Sao Tome And Principe in the 2017，and expounds three aspects of politics，economy and relations with China respectively. In the political area，introducing the efforts taken by the Independent Democratic Action Party to consolidate the ruling status，and to evaluate Sao Tome And Principe's future political trend.
