In 2017，Macau’s tourism gaming industry achieved remarkable results and gained the reputation of “City of Gastronomy”. The total passenger spending has increased significantly compared with last year. The overall level of consumption has increased significantly，but consumer satisfaction has decreased significantly；the number of overnight travelers has once again exceeded that of the same-day visitors. Tourists from Mainland China have made tremendous contributions and are the main source of tourism consumption in Macau. The consumption growth of tourists in Southeast Asia has been accelerating. The main consumption of tourists is shopping spending，and the proportion of transportation consumption is small；the structure of tourists spending shopping in Australia has remained stable. The spending on personal traveler shopping in the Mainland is higher than the overall per capita spending；the overseas tourists’ shopping spending is mainly on basic goods. Looking to the future，Macau must face the shortcomings of the existing tourism consumption supply model，further give play to its advantages in Macau and form a new international competitiveness；the Macau SAR government should improve infrastructure，improve service levels，improve transportation facilities，and strive to cultivate high-quality talents. Measures，taking advantage of the situation，taking various measures to promote the integration of tourism into the world tourism landscape.
