“Macau Tourism Industry Development Master Plan” was issued by Macau Government Tourism Office in September 2017. It is an important guiding plan for the development of tourism in Macau in the future. It is an overall development blueprint and action plan that covers all aspects of the tourism industry. The plan which lasted two years of research and preparation is conducted an in-depth analysis of the status quo，problems，and trends in the tourism industry in Macau. It proposes specific goals，strategies and action plans. After the plan is promulgated，how to implement it is a key issue. In the long run，we must review the short，medium and long-term goals and make timely adjustments to new issues. At the same time，during the implementation process，a steering group should be established，an annual implementation plan should be formulated，community participation should be expanded，crisis management should be strengthened，a monitoring and evaluation mechanism should be established，and a revision mechanism should be improved.
