In recent 40 years since Japanese transnational corporations started its foreign direct investment（FDI）to China，the FDI of Japanese transnational corporations have experienced a history of fluctuations，which can be divided into four stages. Cyclical fluctuations and adjustments of the FDI structure in the fluctuation are one of the main features of the FDI process in Japan. To reveal the cause of those economic cyclical fluctuations，the article，by adopting the theory of international investment of Japanese transnational corporations，interpret the periodic fluctuation in order to maintain the monopoly interests resulting from the adjustment of FDI structure of Japanese transnational corporations by using their special advartages，as well as their concentrated investment in order to maintarn their monopoly.
