Meihekou is the gateway city in southeastern area of Jilin Province and an important city in the central cities group. Over the years，its economic and social development has been continuously improved.In 2015，the economic competitiveness of Meihekou ranked No.1 and sustainable competitivenessranked 4thin 20 county-level cities. In terms of economic development，public services，ecological environment and innovation-driven development，rapid development has been achieved.
