In 2016，Jilin city economy continued to maintain steady growth and the industrial structure was further optimized. Agricultural production maintained a good development trend，the industrial economy grew steadily，and the consumer goods market generally showed a steady and positive trend.In the ranking of national cities' competitiveness，the overall economic competitiveness of Jilin city is declining，among which the sustainable competitiveness is rising and the competitiveness of information cities is declining.The outstanding problem is manifested in major projects investment relatively weak，economic development vitality needs to be enhanced，industrial investment is relatively high，and investment structure needs to be adjusted.In the face of the economic recovery，the supply-side reform is beginning to pay off. We should focus on promoting the optimization of industrial structure and building a modern industrial system；in order to create a regional tourism demonstration area，promote the upgrading of tourism culture industry；focus on improving the integrated service function and building ecological livable city；focus on speeding up reform and innovation and enhancing the endogenous power of development.
