2016年在海洋文化发展史上，是具有里程碑意义的一年。由《中国海洋文化》编委会编纂的中国海洋文化丛书，由海洋出版社正式出版。该丛书对中国沿海11个省（区、市）及港、澳、台地区的海洋文化进行了比较细致而全面的梳理，同时以海洋视角对环渤海海洋文化圈、环东黄海海洋文化圈、环南海海洋文化圈进行了理论呈现。2016年是中国海洋文化研究的转折点：一是中国的海洋文化区域地图首次得到全局式描画，海洋文化资源的开发与利用问题得到更大关注；二是海洋文化学科框架已初步完成整体性构建与修饰，亟待添砖加瓦；三是海洋文化产业正由初级阶段向中级阶段转型，有些地方正前瞻性地直接向高级阶段跨越；四是海洋文化领域逐步拓展，既在内涵上更加趋于多样化，也在空间上逐步走向“一带一路”沿线国家乃至世界各地；五是海洋文化的传承与创新问题日趋成为理论与实践协同发展的问题，而不再是一个纸上谈兵的蓝图憧憬式命题。
in the development history of ocean culture of China，2016 is a milestone year.The series of Chinese ocean culture was officially published by China Ocean Press（Beijing）.The series of books reflect ocean culture of 11 coastal provinces（cities）and Hong Kong，Macao and Chinese Taiwan areas of China.At the same time，the ocean culture circle around Bohai，around the Yellow Sea and the East China Sea，and around the South China Sea，are also theoretically presented from the perspective of the ocean.2016 is the turning point of China's ocean culture research.The ocean culture map of China was pressed.The first，the exploitation and utilization of ocean cultural resources get more attention；the second，the subject of ocean culture building frame is completed，and the whole building blocks，construction and decoration will be propelled；the third，the ocean culture industry is in the process from the initial stage to the middle stage，and in some places is directly going to the advanced stage；the fourth is the field of ocean culture has gradually expanded，both in content and in space along the Belt and Road；the fifth is the inheritance and innovation of ocean culture，will become a more collaborative development with the theory and practice.
