2017年俄罗斯与中亚国家继续加强政治、经济、安全和人文领域的合作，俄罗斯与中亚国家关系全面回升。在后苏联空间一体化进程中，俄罗斯通过欧亚经济联盟加强与中亚国家经济联系与经贸往来；在集体安全条约组织的框架下俄罗斯与中亚国家展开安全和军事领域的合作，应对日益加剧的安全威胁。中亚国家在处理与俄罗斯的关系中，一方面，加深彼此之间在经济和安全领域的合作；另一方面，倡导更为自主多元的外交策略，积极加强与俄罗斯之外的国家与区域组织的联系。
In 2017，Russia and Central Asian countries have sustained to strengthen their cooperation in politics，economy，security and humanities and the mutual relations between them have been fully restored.In the space integration during the post-Soviet era，Russia has strengthened economic ties and trade exchanges with Central Asian countries via the Eurasian Economic Union.In the meantime，under the framework of the Collective Security Treaty Organization，Russia and Central Asian countries have engaged in security and military cooperation to tackle the escalating security threats.With regard to the Central Asian countries，on the one hand，they have deepened their cooperation with Russia in the economic and security fields.On the other hand，they have been advocating a more independent and diversified diplomatic strategy and expecting to strengthen their relations with the countries and regional organizations aside from Russia.
