阿拉伯半岛和中国的文明对话源远流长，地理、经济、文化上的因素决定了两个地区为了全人类的共同利益而相互交流、融合的必然性，两地的交流往来自公元651年正式开始以来便从未间断。本文以阿拉伯文、中文文献以及实地调查资料为基础，对伊斯兰教兴起至20世纪初阿拉伯半岛和中国往来的历史进行回顾，并希望通过本文的研究证实中国—海湾关系在最近十年的有力恢复是双方关系的一种常态。
The history of civilization dialogues between the Arab Peninsula and China dates back to ancient times. Geographic，economic and cultural elements decided the necessity of communication and integration of the two regions to serve the common benefits for all mankind. For this reason，we have witnessed a continuous interaction between them since 651A.D. Based on Arabic and Chinese documents that the author collected and the data that he gathered though his field research，this paper reviews the history between the Arab Peninsula and China since the birth of Islam until the beginning of 20th century and tries to prove that the rebuilding of the Sino-Gulf relationship during the last ten years is nothing more than normal.
