Rooted in the fertile land of traditional ethnic culture，Inner Mongolian ethnic music and dance education enjoys a long history and has made tremendous achievements.Traditional ethnic music and dances aim to improve the educational function of ethnic music education and art education to enhance teachers' and students' cultural identities and to cultivate their ethnic music qualities.By perfecting the ethnic music education theory，enriching school-based ethnic music courses，and improving soft and hardware construction，it is hoped that ethnic music education in Inner Mongolia could be developed vigorously.
