Over its 70-year development，ethnic fine arts education in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region，in primary and secondary schools and colleges and universities，has shown distinctive ethnic features while modernising.Remarkable achievements have been made with respect to the teaching faculty，the structure，and textbooks for ethnic fine arts.However，more efforts should be spared in the future to optimise the curriculum of ethnic fine arts as a discipline，improve the content of relevant textbooks，and upgrade the general quality of the whole teaching faculty.
