The Technopolis Group of UK was commissioned by the Strategic Policy Division of the Department of Jobs，Enterprise and Innovation of Ireland to assist in the mapping and assessment process. The report is A Mapping of Smart Ageing Activity in Ireland and An Assessment of the Potential Smart Ageing Opportunity Areas which analyzes the present areas of smart aging，its potential and future development. The primary objective was to identify major economic opportunities relating to Smart Ageing，where government support was likely to be decisive in helping Irish businesses capture income and market share internationally.
