自2013年5月中巴经济走廊正式提上日程以来，中巴双方均对其寄予厚望。鉴于中巴系全天候战略合作伙伴，双边关系历经过去半个多世纪国内外局势风云变化而岿然不动，中巴从双边层面推动走廊建设存在得天独厚的优势，域内外国家因此高度关注走廊建设进度，将其视为“一带一路”倡议落地和推进的关键风向标。随着中巴经济走廊的迅猛推进和深入开展，其在内政、安全、经济、地缘等方面面临的挑战日趋明显，能否妥善因应考验中巴双方的智慧。
Since its was put high on the agenda in May 2013，China-Pakistan Economic Corridor，both sides have been placing high hopes on it. Considering that China and Pakistan are all-weather strategic partners and bilateral relations have remained stable amid the drastic changes home and abroad，China and Pakistan are in favorable conditions to promote the economic corridor while countries within and outside the region attach great attention to this project. China-Pakistan Economic Corridor has been regarded as the key weathervane for the implementation and unfolding of BRI. With the rapid unfolding of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor，various risks and challenges in domestic politics，security，economy and geopolitics are popping up to the surface，which will test the political wisdom of both countries.
