华侨华人可以在“一带一路”建设中发挥重要作用，特别是在加强民心相通方面发挥不可替代的作用。本文从阐述共享价值观概念出发，提出由共享价值观来认识和推进民心相通的重要性和必要性。基于实证研究发现，中国和泰国、马来西亚、新加坡、菲律宾四个东南亚国家之间具有不尽相同的共享价值观，而且这些共享价值观均不同程度地受到年龄、教育程度以及宗教信仰状况的影响。应该针对不同国家选择不同的培育和传播共享价值观的路径和方式，从而更好地传播中华文化，构建我国文化软实力。
Overseas Chinese can play an important role on the belt and road，especially play an irreplaceable role in enhancing understanding each other for different country people. It starts with a concept of shared values as an introduction，then expounds the significance and necessity of recognizing and pushing on understanding each other for different country people with a concept of shared values. With an empirical research，it’s found that shared values are not the same in different situations for China and Thailand，Malaysia，Singapore，Philippines. which are affected at different levels by age，education status and religion. It should be suggested that applying different ways and methods to cultivate and spread shared values for different countries，which will be of benefit to spread Chinese culture and construct soft power of Chinese culture.
