The energy consumption demand in Indonesia rises greatly，but the energy production rises slowly. Oil and gas resources are the main resources for energy production in Indonesia，and thermal power generation is the main type of power production. Meanwhile，hydroelectric power and geothermal power have great potential for energy production. Indonesia is rich in natural resources，but supply gap of energy still exists. There are a lot of power-investment opportunities in Indonesia with supporting infrastructure and preferential policy. Chinese enterprises already have some power-investment experience in Indonesia，and therefore are competitive in the market.
