近年来，志愿服务工作在全世界范围内蓬勃发展。作为西方志愿服务最为发达的国家之一，美国的志愿服务机制完善、实践丰富、经验更具价值性，对我国志愿服务的发展也具有一定的借鉴意义。本文对近代以来美国志愿服务的发展历程进行了梳理，从全民参与和组织发育、项目管理及社会支持、经费来源与激励保障等角度系统总结了美国志愿服务快速发展的基本经验。
In recent years，voluntary service has developed rapidly all over the world. As one of the most developed countries in the west，the voluntary service mechanism of America is perfect，not only in practice but in experience. It also has some reference significance for the development of voluntary service in china. This paper reviews the development course of American voluntary service in modern times and sums up the basic experience of development，including national participation，organizations involvement，project management，social support，funding sources，incentive security.
