本文主要介绍了印度科技发展基本情况，包括印度国家创新竞争力分析、科技创新政策与战略、支持创新创业的政策与实践、研发投入与产出情况、国际科技合作情况以及科技创新发展重点领域等。印度科技管理体系完善，促进创新创业的环境良好，科研投入持续增长，科技发展迅猛，论文、专利、高科技出口份额等增长迅速。本文还梳理、分析了中印两国科技创新合作沿革和现状，中印两国科技合作不断深化，双边科技合作机制与合作平台已初步建构，科技合作与科技交流领域不断拓展，在金砖国家合作框架下多边科技合作已经展开。
The report gives an account of the status quo of science，technology and innovation（STI）in India，including evaluation and analysis of India’s national innovative competitiveness，STI policy and strategy，innovation and entrepreneurship policies and practices，R&D expenditure and output，international cooperation，and key STI fields. India has a rather complete S&T management system and a sound environment for innovation and entrepreneurship，accompanied by a sustainable growth in R&D expenditure，outputs of papers and patents and high-tech exports. This report also analyses the progress and the status quo of China-India cooperation in STI，the mechanism and the platform for bilateral collaboration in wider areas，and joint efforts under multi-lateral mechanism.
