泰国作为东盟的发起成员国之一，在东南亚区域发展中占有重要地位。泰国基础设施良好，外商投资环境优良，作为中国与东南亚市场和资源的联系纽带作用日益明显，中国企业近年来明显加快了投资泰国的步伐。中国在泰国的投资从1979年开始，大致经历了缓慢发展、稳步拓展、迅速发展、全面发展四个阶段，投资行业遍及农业、制造业、服务业等领域，项目数量与投资规模均呈上升态势。中国企业在泰国直接投资在投资规模、结构、方式等方面仍存在一些亟待优化的地方。
Thailand is the sponsor member of ASEAN，takes an important place in the development of Southeast Asia，it has good basic facilities and investing environment for foreign investors，it has obvious effect to be the link of market and resources of China and Southeast，Chinese enterprise increase the investment in Thailand in recent year. China started to invest in Thailand at 1979，experienced four developing stages：slow-developing，stable expanding，quick developing，comprehensive developing，covered agriculture，manufacturing，service industry，the amount of programs and investing scale are increasing at the same time. But there are also some problems of investing scale，structure，methods to solve on the direct investment in Thailand of Chinese enterprise.
